ANSWER: The remote is designed like a clamshell--two pieces. Find the seam on the side of the unit and find the notch mine is in the middle of the side with the Liftmaster text. Insert a coin or screwdriver and twist to get the two sides to separate. You'll have to pull it apart. Locate the round, nickel-sized battery and pop it out. Replace with a C2023 battery. Realign the two pieces and snap back together. by N O a

ANSWER: Remove metal clip to make it easier to handle. Find the small coin slot on lrft side of openet. Insert dime or small screw driver. Turn one quarter turn to open. Remove battery snd replace with like batter. Once done simply snap back together. by M A a
