The 23-213 stand-alone SecuraKey proximity access control card reader for doors and gates by Security Brands doesn't require PC programming. This heavy-gauge stainless steel faceplate and enclosure from Security Brands Inc. has a SecuraKey RK reader mounted to the faceplate. The Security Brands 23-213 access card reader available at North Shore Commercial Door can hold up to as many as 2,000 proximity codes. To program the unit, simply unlock the faceplate and use the enclosed keypad to enter master control, latch, and sleep and individual user codes.
All Security Brands StandAlone Proximity card readers have a 1,000-code memory transaction buffer that can be printed out on an RS-232 serial printer. The unit will report dates, times, card numbers entered, relays activated and valid/invalid card status. To prevent multiple persons without cards from entering a secured area by closely following an authorized card user, this unit has a true anti-passback feature. The Security Brands 3-Strikes-You're-Out feature will temporarily disable the unit for 1 1/2 minutes when three incorrect codes are entered within a three-minute time period.
