QUESTION: I have a Amar Challenger model 1000 garage door opener. the current transmitter is bad. It's a Amar M-9 and the remote is a ESP-T 9. Is the Allstar transmitter compatable with the Challenger 1000 and do you have a receiver that will work withthe two? by aaron b 11/14/2012
ANSWER: My receiver went out so I purchased a new one. The one I ordered and received was an upgraded unit since mine was pretty old. This new receiver will take up to 8 different codes which means you could have 8 different transmitters so you should be able to use your current good transmitters you have on the same freq or add new ones. It's very easy to program - single push button, single led for feedback. by GREG N a
