BEA’s Active Infrared Sensors offer safety and activation for automatic doors. The SuperScan is a door mounted presence sensor that uses triangulation to detect the presence of a pedestrian and eliminate false detections caused by varying environmental conditions. The Quadscan is a safety sensor designed for use on pedestrian automatic swinging doors that can be adjusted from 43 to 118 inches mounting height. The Bodyguard is an overhead presence sensor designed to protect pedestrians and other objects from being struck by the opening of a swinging or bi-folding door. The Focus is a compact sensor that can be used in a variety of applications where space may be limited or additional detection is needed to complement preinstalled sensors, such as on revolving doors where pinch-zone protection is needed.BEA’s versatile selection of Active Infrared Sensors are easy to install and program.
