Keep your gate safe with the Photoelectric Dual Beam Detector/Gate Opener Photo Eyes by GTO/Mighty Mule from North Shore Commercial Door. The Mighty Mule Gate Opener Photo Eyes (Item #R4222) is a non-contact photoelectric safety device system utilizing dual beam and through-beam technology to reduce false detections when detecting obstructions.
GTO/Mighty Mule Gate Opener Photo Eyes prevent the gate from closing when an obstruction is in the path of the through-beams. When the beams detect the presence of a moving object, the detection will cause the gate(s) to stop and reverse to the fully open position. As long as the beam is obstructed the gate(s) will remain open. Not compatible with solar powered gate openers. For use with all GTO Access Systems and Mighty Mule AC and DC powered gate operators.
This safety feature is designed to be direct wired to the gate opener circuit board and easy to install on the inside and on the outside of your gate. For a typical pull-to-open application, two Photo Eyes are placed across the driveway opposite of one another, just outside the gate. Two more would be placed on the inside of the property but outside of the reach of the gate in its open position. These sensors do not allow the gate to close when it senses any obstruction (vehicle, person, horse, etc.) in the path of the beam. Low voltage wire and mounting posts not included. Backed by the Mighty Mule 12-month warranty.
