ANSWER: You have to look at the bottom of the door to see which seal fits your door. If you can slide your old piece out just a bit, you can see how it fits in your door. What you should look for would be if you need a 'U' type, where two pieces slide into the door molding or a one piece like is in the picture hopefully you are seeing the picture of astragal door bottom seal. I believe that the 'U' shape is more common and easier to find. by Bob M a

ANSWER: that is not true, you cannot make it round to seal on the floor, it comes flat from the supplier in a roll and it stays that way, closing the door just makes it lean over and stays flat, I have bought three different times with the same problem by Billy G a

QUESTION: I have an older Overhead door Series 288. Will this model weather seal work for my door? I have both a 2 car and a single car garage to replace the bottom seals on. ANSWER: I RECENTLY INSTALLED THIS SEAL ON MY 3 GARAGE DOORS.<br />IT WAS EASY TO INSTALL AND SEAL NICELY.<br />THE RUBBER IS SOFT SO IT FLATTENS TO SEAL GOOD. by LEN M a
ANSWER: Yes it will work as long as the slot in the bottom of the door is not too large and the bulb falls out. we have used on many different manufactured doors. Allen by A L a
ANSWER: There are different fittings for a garage door. Some that the rubber fits on two sides both sides of the rubber must be fitted into the door. This P bulb type has only one part of the garage that the rubber fits into.<br />On my door this was the one I needed.<br />Here is a tip when removing the old rubber and when inserting the new - Squirt soapy water along the track as you pull the rubber along.<br />I hope this helps. by Bob M a
REPLY: Thanks for the response. I just installed the new P-Bulb seal on my door today. It was not difficult to replace at all. I am letting it sit now, so the seal can take on the proper fit, as it was rolled up flat in the box it was shipped in. I had ordered a 1 foot section of the P-Bulb seal, and then 1 foot of the Janas International Bulb. I could see that the P-Bulb was what I needed to go with, so I did. I am happy too, as it sealed the door perfectly. No more gaps or daylight coming through the bottom! by Henry W r
