The PowerMaster GJ Jackshaft Operator is designed for use on commercial and industrial rolling steel or sectional overhead doors by chain coupling to the door shaft. May also be used with rolling grilles, roll up service doors and counter shutters when a chain hoist is not required. Model GJ is intended for continuous medium duty cycle commercial applications. Model GJ standard features include a floor level disconnect, heavy duty worm gear reduction, solid state circuitry with power and program feedback on LEDs, onboard open/close/stop buttons for service and adjustments and auto-detect monitored photobeam for simplified installation. Rotary limit switches are easily adjustable over a wide range and the motor may be removed without affecting the limit switch adjustments. Manual release permits manual operation of the door in the event of a power failure by pulling chain and securing in wall mounted chain lock to disengage the operator. Standard three button open, close and stop and accepts all standard control devices. Constant contact to close is standard operation. Momentary contact to close can be activated by simply moving a wire on the terminal strip.
The GJ Jackshaft Operator is a high starting torque motor with full overload protection with an adjustable torque limiting clutch. Heavy duty #41 roller chain and driven sprocket for final drive included. Electrical components installed in a NEMA 1 enclosure. The baked on, black powder coat finish is strong and durable. Optional equipment includes sensing photo edge (contact sensor), photo cell (non-contact sensor) and control stations and accessories. Optional features include digital radio controls, digital timer to close and keyless entry system.
