QUESTION: I have a Clopay door with hurricane reinforcement struts. The previous owner installed a garage door opener without a door opener reinforcement bracket. Will this bracket fit with the hurricane reinforcement struts in place? by Doug V 1/29/2015
ANSWER: My door has the basic reinforment on each panel. I was able to mount the bottom of this bracket on an existing screw used for the hinge, and I also mounted the top on an existing screw on the top reinforcement. Not sure how your huricane reinforcements are run. If the length matches, you probably can install this on top or underneath them. Hope this helps! by Robert E a
