This light socket is the same as many other Liftmaster Chamberlain and Sears Craftsman model numbers.
It will work all almost every Chamberlain liftmaster Sears Craftsman opener that has already had a light on it. This product is not limited to the models listed above.

ANSWER: check the wire's connected to the plastic light bulb sockets and the bottom of the socket contacts. mine were both over heated and melted. replaced both sockets and I now only 25watt bulbs in them. hopefully this problem will not occur again. by Merrille S a

ANSWER: Need to take off cover over light - snaps off. Then remove 3 screws holding on the front panel of the garage opener. Socket is snapped into this panel so just requires you to release snap snap is at right top of socket as visualized above. Two wires disconnect from plugs easily. by Doug P a
STAFF ANSWER: Take off the panel after disconnecting the power. Then you will see the tab that you depress and remove the two connected wires. Pop in the new one and you're done. by Matthew O a
