The BEA Falcon EX with a flame-proof, explosion-proof housing from North Shore Commercial Door is designed for normal to high mounting on industrial doors. BEA's Falcon EX sensor combines Falcon/Falcon XL microwave activation sensors with a special enclosure that eliminates the risk for "spark and arc" often found within hazardous environments such as mining, chemical manufacturing, petroleum refining and agricultural operations. The flame-proof housing is a NEMA 4X waterproof-rated enclosure designed as an AP housing that meets UL Class I/ Division I, Groups B, C, D; UL Class II, Groups E, F, G and UL Class III standards. Six modes of detection filtering are available for microwave immunity, as well as pedestrian and parallel traffic rejection.
