The EMX VMD202-100 vehicle motion detector has its probe and its electronics housed in a slim design that allows the device to be buried next to a driveway. The maximum sensitivity setting provides a 12-foot detection range dependent on the size and speed of the vehicle. A wide range of power inputs can be accepted by this device and you can install a 9V battery in the device for six months of operation if the vehicle motion detector is located in an area without a power supply. This device also has a low standby current of 250uA for solar power applications.
