QUESTION: I have a gto sl200b gate with the ER-294 receiver installed. Is there a way to troubleshoot the receiver? What is happending is the status light on the controller board is blinking red even with a fully charged battery. GTO told me it could be the receiver. I do point out one eve recently the cover was off the gate operator and it rained a bit and the receiver was exposed. Have you seen this short out or somehow mess up the receiver. Thanks much by Marcus T 10/12/2015
ANSWER: Hi! Sorry I can't help because we returned the item they're referring to for our gate. It didn't work for us. by Betty B a
ANSWER: Try putting back the original gray receiver from GTO and see if that works. If it works then your Heddolf ER294 got short circuited from the rain. <br />I had a whole circuit board that got damaged from the rain because the customer decided to work on the gate operator himself without calling me and then he forgot to close the door. That night it rained really bad and fried the circuit board. So yes rain can cause a lot of damage. If the gray receiver from GTO doesn't work then your circuit board is no good. by Darrel A a
