ANSWER: I would first check all door hinges, springs, door tracks and light sensors in that order. A broken door hing could cause this. Secondly, try adjusting the down force of the door--this frequently needs adjustment after a seasonal wheather change. Third check the trolley itself---mine had worn through the teflon pads and the metal of the trolley was catching on the seam of the bar causing nuisance stops/reversals. This is an unlikely but could happen. Lastly, replace the door logic board and/or capacitor if the opener is less than 10 years old. These are very suseptible to power spikes and may need replaced frequently will exhibit a little burn spot. Lastly, if the opener is old replace the whole unit. by Steve S a

ANSWER: Loosen the chain, hold it in place with zip ties, remove the pin that holds the J arm to the trolley, unattach the trolley from the chain, this includes a master link on one end of the chain and a bolt on the other end remove the pin that holds the rail to the header, slide the old trolley out and put the new one on, put everything back on opposite order it was removed by Alfredo J a
