QUESTION: I have an Allister Type II opener manufactured about 1986 that was not equipped with safety sensors. Opener uses a Multi-Code three terminal receiver unit for the remote control function. ANSWER: My garage door opener is a Liftmaster. It is an older model and when I replaced the beams with these new ones it worked perfectly. I suggest you check online at the Liftmaster website to see if these beams are compatible with your opener. Sorry I can't be of more help. by Ethel F a
