The LiftMaster 41D7742-7 Travel Module allows you to control how far the garage door travels during open and close cycles. The small module is a replacement part for the LiftMaster 8355 Garage Door Opener. The compact design is easy to install and ensures the LiftMaster 8355 Garage Door Opener works properly at all times. The part is made by LiftMaster and is a direct replacement for the original module. This replacement part from North Shore Commercial Door works for overhead and wall mounted motors.
It’s important to reprogram the travel module after installing the LiftMaster 41D7742-7 replacement part. To program the travel module, refer to the model that came with the garage door opener. When programmed properly, the door will raise and lower completely, reversing or stopping when obstructions are present. If the door does not raise or lower properly or if it does not stop when an obstruction is present, a replacement travel module may be needed.
