The LiftMaster Pave Over Pre-Formed Loop Model 50ENL1218 is a flexible sensing loop that is compatible with all vehicle loop detectors. The sensing loop comes complete with 50 feet of lead-in wire. The loop is made of 14-gauge wire and is enclosed in a weatherproof casing and is designed in the pave-over style. The loop is designed to be installed directly under concrete, asphalt, pavers or packed gravel. The direct burial application ensures the loop stays in place.
LiftMaster Pave Over Pre-Formed Loops are vehicle-sensing devices available through North Shore Commercial Door. The sensing loops work to detect the presence of a vehicle by generating an electrical field that interacts with the metal chassis on the underside of the car. The sensitivity of the system is adjustable and may be increased for higher vehicles such as trucks. When a vehicle is present, the loop signals to the operator to open or close the garage door or gate.
The pave over loops are made without air pockets between the wire and enclosure, resulting in fewer repeat service calls and phantom detections caused by ground vibrations. The durable 14-gauge wire loop can be tied to rebar using cable ties.
