The lever allows users to easily disconnect the garage door from the opener for manual operation. Models that use the floor level disconnect lever will not allow for manual use unless the lever is engaged. Faulty or broken levers should be replaced quickly to allow for manual operation in the event of a power outage or operator error.

The lever is painted a bright red color to make it easily viewable from the floor of a warehouse, garage or commercial space. The lever comes with a convenient mounting bracket and has a built-in handle for comfort. The lever is easy to use and is considered a safety device in most workplaces.
