The NP2 is a Single Channel Dual Relay Vehicle Detector
specifically designed by Northstar Controls for the parking and access
control industries. The NP2 has a wide induction range that allows for
use with small loops often found in Parking and Access Control
installations. With standard operations including programmable pulse and
presence options, fail-safe or fail-secure operation, compatibility
with all radio controls, timing features and more, the NP2 covers all
parking and access control detection needs.
The NP2 Features separate indicators for power on, detect relay 1,
detect relay 2, and fault provide for quick visual verification of
proper operation. Loop diagnostics are easily viewed with the front
panel fault indicator, differentiating between current and historical
faults to simplify troubleshooting. This loop detector’s small size and
full list of features works with virtually any parking or access control
application from simple presence detection to configure pulse/presence
lengths with output extensions and/or delays.
