PowerMaster Model CH for Carwash Applications, Standard Lift Sectional Doors, Rolling Service Doors & Grilles
PowerMaster Model CH is an Industrial Duty Hoist operator made for Sectional Doors, carwash type applications, Rolling Service Doors, and Grilles. The primary reduction is done by a heavy duty v-belt drive and secondary reduction is by a chain and sprocket arrangement. The reduction stages are arranged so that the mechanism is self locking when the torque is applied at the output shaft. All of the reduction shafts are a minimum of 1” in diameter and they are supported by bronze oilite bearings. The operator supplies an alterable torque limiting clutch. The motor is of the high starting torque, protected from overload by a current sensing or thermal type overload device, and is a enclosed fanh86 cooled continuous duty industrial type. The motor controller is across the line, heavy duty, full voltage, magnetic reversing contactor, that is electrically and mechanically interlocked. The electrical components set up in a NEMA 4 enclosure essential to the operator. A transformer is supplied to limit control voltage to 24 VAC. Individual terminal strips are supplied for connection of the power supply line and all the control devices. The operator is wired for an open/close/stop control station. The control circuit supplies immediate reverse motor wiring on single phase operators. The positive chain driven, rotary type limit switches are supplied to reduce full open and close travel of the door. The limit switch modification is not changed by the removal of the motor or by manually operating the door. An electrical interlock switch is supplied to disable control circuit while manual hoist chain is operating. A floor level manual hoist chain is supplied for emergency operation of the door. The final drive chain is a #50 or larger roller chain, the operator is able to be mounted for right or left hand use either in a horizontal or vertical position.
