PowerMaster Model GT Drawbar Operator is used on Standard Lift Sectional Doors. The PowerMaster Model GT's motor is high starting torque, continuous duty industrial type, and is protected from overload by a current sensing or thermal type overload device. Primary reduction is by industrial rated gear box running in an oil bath. The motor controller is a heavy duty, across the line, full voltage, magnetic reversing contractor that is electrically and mechanically intertwined. The electrical components installed in a NEMA 1 enclosure integral to the operator. Individual terminal strips are provided for the connection of power supply line and all control devices.
A transformer is supplied to reduce control voltage to 24 VAC. The operator is wired for an open/close/stop control station. A control circuit provides immediate reverse motor wiring on single phase operators. The positive chain driven, rotary type limit switches are supplied to limit full open and close travel of door. Limit switch adjustment is not affected by the removal of the motor or by manually operating the door. An adjustable torque limiting clutch is given to prevent the overloading of the operator. A disconnect arm for the manual operation of the door is supplied in case of power failure and a spring set solenoid released brake is provided. The final reduction and drive is a heavy duty roller chain and sprockets. The drive shaft is supported by oilite bearings and is a minimum of 3/4” in diameter.
