PowerMaster Model "H" is an industrial duty hoist type operator, to be used on Rolling Steel Doors, Sectional doors, and Grilles. The primary reduction is by a heavy duty V-Belt Drive. Secondary reduction is by a chain and sprocket arrangement. The reduction stages are arranged so that the mechanism is self locking when the torque is applied at output shaft. Each reduction shaft is a minimum of 1” in diameter, supported by bronze oilite bearings. The Operator supplies an adjustable torque limiting clutch. The Model H motor is a high starting torque, continuous duty industrial type, that is protected from overload by a current sensing or thermal type overload device. The motor controller is a heavy duty, full voltage, magnetic reversing contractor, which is electrically and mechanically interlocked. The Electrical components installed in a NEMA 1 enclosure integral to the operator. A transformer is supplied to decrease control voltage to 24 VAC. Individual terminal strips are given for connection of power supply line and all control devices. The operator is wired for an open/close/stop control station. The control circuit provides immediate reverse motor wiring on single phase operators. Positive chain driven, rotary type limit switches are supplied to reduce full open and close travel of the door. Limit switch adjustment is not afflicted by the removal of the motor or by the manual operation of the door. A floor level manual hoist chain is supplied for emergency operation of the door. An electrical interlock switch is given to disable the control circuit while the manual hoist chain is engaged. The final drive chain is a #50 or larger rollerchain. Operator has the ability of right or left hand configuration.
