This prevents the struts from activating the safety beam and reversing the garage door unintentionally. The extension brackets are sold in a package of 2 and include necessary hardware for mounting. The brackets work with a variety of LiftMaster Safety Beams. Safety beams are sold separately. Instructions for adjusting the safety beams can be found in the owner’s manual that came with the garage door opener or the instructions included with the safety beams.
