Set of 12 --- 2 Inch 11 / 13 Ball Nylon Garage Door Roller (4 Inch Stem)
Product Description
A Quantity of 12 -- 11 Ball Nylon Garage Door Rollers

Shaft Length: approx 4"

Roller Diameter: 1.75" for 2" track

Shaft diameter: 7/16"

11 ball bearing rating: 75lbs per roller @ 50,000 cycles

Please note: the old 13 ball roller was rated for max 75 lb load sections and 15,000 cycles.

The new 11 ball roller is also rated for max 75 lb sections but passed 50,000 cycles.

One key difference is the way the ball bearing race track is formed. The new wishbone design holds onto the tire a little better and helps keep the tire from coming loose thus improved performance. But, less ball bearings can fit into this new design.

QUESTION: Are the bearings sealed? by Bill W 12/28/2013

QUESTION: The current rollers have a stem length of 4 1/2 what is the true length of the new ones? by None N 7/25/2013

ANSWER: The shaft is 4 3/8" from the back of the roller to the end of shaft. These are really quality replacement rollers. The door is actually quieter after installing the rollers. by Jon C a
ANSWER: Part 2 of my answer...sorry...I was unable to edit my first answer before it got sent. 4 1/4" of the stem will work in a standard hinge. 1/4" of the 4 1/2" total stem length is slightly larger in diameter and acts as a shoulder to but against the hinge. by Krunr K a
ANSWER: Not sure what "true" length refers to, but overall length is 4 3/4".

The stem part you need to be concerned with is 4 1/2" which is the part sliding into the hinge. by Krunr K a
ANSWER: The length of the stem from the inside of the roller is 4 1/4 inches. by Tom B a
ANSWER: I am unable to measure the rollers because I am not close to the door where I installed them. Remember, the stem generally passes completely through the door hinge and the amount that passes through is NOT critical. So if you have 1/2" or 3/4" of the stem sticking through your hinges then if these hinges do, in fact, measure 4" they will work fine for you.
I am VERY satisfied with these nylon rollers. They are much quieter than what I had on my door. My door is almost completely silent when it opens or closes.
I hope this helps you! by G R a
ANSWER: I measure 3 3/4" to shoulder, +1/2" for the shoulder for a total length of 4 1/4" by L U a
