North Shore Commercial Door now carries the SuperScan I 10SSTI40 door mounted active infrared presence sensor by BEA. The SuperScan I 10SSTI40 is a door mounted active infrared presence sensor that uses triangulation to detect the presence of pedestrians. This eliminates false detection caused by varying floor and environment conditions. The SuperScan I 10SSTI40 is designed for use on automatic swinging, revolving, folding and low energy doors. The module can be used as an individual unit or daisy chained with up to 9 slave modules. This flexibility allows the SuperScan I 10SSTI40 to be used on both narrow or wide doors. To eliminate unwanted detection of guide rails or walls, each module detection zone can be angled independently. Coupled with BEA's Bodyguard overhead presence sensor, the SuperScan I 10SSTI40 meets ANSI 156.10 standard relating to swing doors. Suggested use for 42" door leaf.
