That’s why we are proud to offer the 99610 Replacement Door Assembly for Todco Dryfreight doors. Coming in two styles, the 99610-1 Complete Universal Door Assembly, and the 99610-2 Universal Drop-In Door Assembly (tracks and counterbalance assembly not included). Each kit is compatible with step-in vans, box trucks, delivery vehicles, freight trucks, and more that are using Todco Dryfreight doors.
DOOR PANELS:
Todco’s Complete Universal Door assembly (99610-1 and 99610-3) and Drop In Door Assembly (99610-2 and 99610-4) are compatible with trucks that have openings of 87-3/4 inches wide and 90-100 inches tall. The universal Door Assembly has the complete package of parts needed to repair the door. The assembly includes the horizontal/vertical tracks, counterbalance assembly, panels, and necessary mounting hardware. The options for the Drop-In Door assembly only come with the door panels and hardware. Vertical and horizontal tracks, as well as counterbalance assembly are not included with the Drop In Door. Both the complete universal door, and drop in door assemblies are able to be cut down in the field to fit your doors exact specifications.
For both assemblies, the panels are shipped in two sections that are semi assembled. Held together by the center hinges, the two sections will need the included center hinge pin (69653.0000.16) to connect the panels together. All of the necessary mounting hardware is shipped in the universal hardware kit (89307-1000)
HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL TRACKS:
The vertical and horizontal tracks supplied with the complete door assembly are shipped in lengths longer than what your application may need. The vertical track is shipped in 106-3/4 Inch lengths. In order to install properly, measure your door height and add 6-3/4 inches to the final number. This will allow enough room for the counterbalance assembly to mount properly. The horizontal track is shipped in 120 inch lengths. Please note that when installing, the horizontal track should have a minimum of 1-1/2 of ceiling clearance. According to the manufacturer 2-1/4 inches of clearance is typical. If you purchase the 99610-2 or 99610-4 Universal Drop In door assemblies, these measurements do not apply.
COUNTERBALANCE ASSEMBLY:
The 59174-0357X90 Counterbalance assembly that comes with the Universal Door Assemblies 99610-1 and 99610-3 measures out to be 90 inch in length. In order to make sure that your step-in-van, delivery truck, or any other truck door application works properly, the shaft must be cut down. To ensure the proper cut, please measure the door panel width and add 2-1/4 inches to the number. If you purchase the Universal Drop In door assemblies, these measurements do not apply.
HARDWARE, LOCKS, AND LATCHES:
A universal hardware kit (89307-1000) is shipped with both the complete and drop in door assemblies. It should be noted that the pull strap and lift handle come pre-installed from the factory, but the 69571 Maximum Security Lock and 69572 Lock Keeper must be installed in the field. To install the Maximum Security Lock, locate the CL (Center Line) of the panel. Then, position the lock up 1/4 of an inch from the panels edge. Use five 1-1/8 inch semi-tubular rivets to secure the lock in place. The lock keeper will only require three semi-tubular rivets. The 61204 Cable anchor brackets need to be installed 3-3/4 inches away from the vertical edge of the bottom panel.
PAINT JOB:
The panels of each assembly can be painted at the factory. When placing your order please use the drop down box above to select the color you would like. The options are primed white, and painted white (spray paint).
SHIPPING:
The door assembly size prevents it from shipping using conventional methods. These assemblies must be shipped by freight. When placing your order please keep in mind that our sales staff will be contacting you with a quote.
