Product Description

Whether you've lost your garage door opener or yours has outlived its usefulness, it's a huge inconvenience to open and close your garage door manually every time you need access. The Chamberlain KLIK1U can prevent all that and act as a second clicker for another member of your household.

Designed to work with a variety of garage door openers, including Stanley, Overhead Door, Wayne-Dalton and Craftsman, the KLIK1U gives you convenient but secure access to your own garage. Because it features two separate controls, you can operate two different garage doors at once. What's the best part? It's incredibly easy to program and comes with easy-to-follow instructions that will guide you through the entire process from start to finish. You'll even find details on how to program the Chamberlain KLIK1U Clicker universal garage door opener with your specific brand, from Genie to LiftMaster. It can learn preprogrammed codes and be configured to work with garage doors that work with dip switches, so it's versatile enough to be used in almost any residential setting.

The KLIK1U is a typical, pocket-sized universal garage door opener. It features a securely attached clip that fits standard visors for easy access, and it comes with a single coin cell battery so it's ready to go right out of the box. Even changing the battery is simple; just slide the front cover down to reveal the battery compartment and inside wiring.

QUESTION: bought this door opener. have a craftsman door. what is the # of times to press in setting it up with a craftsman door? by M R 8/13/2014
ANSWER: Some on-line instruction pamphlets contain "additional" instructions and hints for use of their proprietary products with a competitors equipment. You might try to stand on a ladder so that you are facing the garage door motor you will be looking toward the overhead door. Click the remote once every second until you see the red light on the back of the motor go on or hear a very audible click of the solenoid/relay power-up. You would then follow the rest of the programing instructions. Good luck! by Craig G a
ANSWER: You must find who manufactured the Craftsman opener...get a step stool and check around the motor for a label. Liftmaster does make openers for Craftsman, but it might not be the only one.
When you locate the manufacturing company, follow the instructions for that company.

Also, check to see if possibly you have dip switches that are set on your opener.

Good luck by D O a
