How to Program the Genie Intellicode GIT-3 G2T-3 Three Button Garage Door Opener Remote
Installing the Battery
- Remove battery cover.
- Slide the old battery downwards and match polarity with the symbols inside the housing. Remove old battery and slide in the new one.
- Slide in the new cover.
- Press any button to confirm power is on.
Programming the Receiver:
- Locate the Learn Code button and the indicator LED on the powerhead.
- Press & release the Learn Code Button (the Radio Signal LED will blink rapidly)
- Press & release the transmitter button (the LED will stop blinking)
- Press & release the Remote Button again (the LED will go out)
- Press the Remote Button one last time and release. The Door Opener will run and the remote has been programmed.
How to Erasing Receiver Memory:
- Press the Learn Code button until the the LED goes out.
- Use the remaining transmitter codes to reprogram.
- Use any access device codes from other devices to reprogram the receiver.
