Our customers can now purchase the Chateau C-480-EZ-S-CD-KD Short Milled EZ Cylinder Lock on North Shore Commercial Door. The short milled latch is compatible with Bezel type latches. The solid brass body is plated in chrome to protect against rust or corrosion. Boasting maximum security, the C-480-EZ-S-CD-KD features an exclusive keyway that prevents lock picking or tampering. No hardware is necessary to install this lock as a set of two bearings in the back expand to keep the lock in place. When the key is inserted and turned the bearings retract. This allows the user to remove the lock and access the door. The C-480-EZ-S-CD-KD also contains an overlock feature which enables property managers to prevent access in the event a tenant forgets to pay the bill. To access the overlock feature, the property owner needs the C-480-EZ-BK-OL Overlock Key which are sold separately. The overlock key fits into the lock, then turns to the left. The overlock is now activated, and the lock keys will not release the lock until the overlock is removed.
