The Guardian DC GDO Position Encoder is available at North Shore Commercial Door! This position encoder is compatible with model 628 operators as long as they were manufactured before February 2012. To identify whether your operator was manufactured before February 2012, you will need to locate the steel chassis of the opener. On it, you will find a barcode label with a serial number. If your serial number is lower than 12020001, then the DC GCO encoder will work for you.
