PowerMaster 38-00250 Secondary Shaft Assembly for Model MG Commercial Operator

The replacement PowerMaster 38-00250 secondary shaft assembly from North Shore Commercial Door is for use on PowerMaster model MG commercial garage door operators. MG industry-type door operators raise or lower rolling steel or sectional overhead doors by chain coupling to the door shaft. These are the indoor-use door operators you choose when all or part of the garage door remains in a vertical position when fully open.

For example, an MG garage door opener would be installed where there is 18 inches of lift clearance or full vertical lift doors. They can also be used with roll up service doors and grills in some circumstances. An MG operator does not lock the door in its closed position. Because the cross-header shaft is prevented by the operator from turning, the torsion springs can't lift the door if you attempt to open the door manually.
