The TransCore AT-5402 access control RFID tag, sold individually from North Shore Commercial Door, is a half-frame, beam-powered radio frequency (RF) tag that replaces the AT-5105. The AT-5402 is used in automatic vehicle identifications with TransCore Amtech brand and TransCore Encompass brand multi-protocol reader systems. It's factory-programmed, per the customer's request. It stores up to 10 6-bit alphanumeric characters of customer data (60 bits ATA memory).

When used with TransCore Encompass readers, the AT5402 access control tag enables advanced security techniques that ensure a tag's authenticity while preventing data corruption and/or alteration. This tag also prevents tag cloning, spoofing and duplicating. Because the AT-5402 is programmed at the factory, it cannot be reprogrammed. This tag is designed for interior mounting on a non-metallized windshield. Instructions are included.
