QUESTION: Is there any way to adjust the time the light is on? The manual says it will stay on for 4 1/2 minutes, but doesn't say whether you can adjust this time up or down.<br />Thank you, by Rohn V 8/12/2015
ANSWER: Looking at the circuit board, there is nothing that's adjustable. I suppose an electrical engineer could determine which of the soldered on doohickeys controls the time and replace it with another doohickey... by Rich R a
QUESTION: My wall switch looks identical to the one in the picture. Lift-Master But it spells out Lift-Master security+<br />Will this switch work? Or please recommend one that will. by None N 7/19/2015
ANSWER: The unit I ordered looked exactly like the one I replaced. I have 2 doors and the original control panel is still on one of the doors. Everything worked normally with my North Shore replacement, but neither of my controls originally were labelled with "security +". <br /><br />My units have a "lock" function that disables remote rf operation. If that's what your control does, then I'd suspect the North Shore replacement will work, but no guarantees.<br />Rich by Rich O a

QUESTION: I have a Liftmaster 1160 made in 1991. I need to replace the wired button by my back door. It has 4 wires.It looks like the 41A4202A but it only has 2 wires. Are the older units still available? by Tom P 3/23/2014
