QUESTION: Are these compatible with Wayne dalton garage door openers? by None N 11/23/2016
ANSWER: Wayne Dalton is a Garage Door manufacturer, meaning, JUST the door. These sensors are for the garage door OPENER which could be many different brands.
I myself have Wayne Dalton doors and a "Chamberlain" Garage door opener who also makes Liftmaster and Craftsman. Although they may look like they are part of the doors these sensors are actually a component of the garage door opener. You need to find out what kind brand and model of opener you have. You can find out by getting a ladder and looking at the Garage door opener unit on the ceiling. This is a box that has a chain or belt coming out of it that raises and lowers the door, and usually has a light that comes on when you open the garage door.
Once you have the manufacturer and model number you should be able to see if these sensors are compatible with it.

Hope this helps you. by MICHAEL L a
