QUESTION: Hello,<br />I purchased a remote893maxand wireless keypad 387lm based on website recommendation, but cannot get neither to work the opener. I followed the inst. but GREEN learn button LED does not light up when attempting programming for either items above. However, I did attempt a code clear on the opener which seemed successful, but old single button remotes still work, and when activatedopen/close the green LED lights up when remote is operates. Is the circuit board bad or do I need different remote/keyboard?<br />Thanks, doug by Doug C 1/3/2014
ANSWER: Hi Doug,<br /><br />If you pressed the clear code button and your old remote still works, then it sounds like there might be a problem with the logic board. It's all part of it. You may have to replace it. I just replaced my logic board because the door wouldn't close in cold weather any more. It is easy to change and you could do this replacement yourself. Saves the cost of labor. But before doing that you should consult a Tech Support regarding all this. Hope everything works out for you. I am very happy with North Shore they should be able to resolve this problem for you. All the best! by Rick B a
