BEA SuperScan III Active Infrared Safety Sensor 10SSTIII

North Shore Commercial Door now carries the SuperScan III 10SSTIII from by BEA. The SuperScan III 10SSTIII is an active infrared safety sensor that uses triangulation to detect pedestrians. This technology virtually eliminates false detections caused by varying floor and environment conditions. The SuperScan III 10SSTIII is door mounted and highly versatile. It can be used with automatic swinging, revolving, folding and low energy doors.

The SuperScan III 10SSTIII incorporates (1) master and (2) slaves per housing. The unit can be daisy chained with up to 9 slave modules. This flexible configuration means the SuperScan III 10SSTIII can be used on narrow or wide doors. Independently angle each detection zone to eliminate unwanted detection of guide rails or walls. Coupled with BEA's Bodyguard overhead presence sensor, the SuperScan III SSTIII meets ANSI 156.10 standard relating to swing doors.

The SuperScan III 10SSTIII Includes: 1 Master module and 2 Slave modules per housing. Overall length is 34.5 in. end cap to end cap.
