Product Description

The Genie PowerLift 900 and G Power 900 garage door opener is designed to operate large residential garage doors and this job will be impossible with a faulty circuit board assembly. If you have discovered that the circuit board for your Genie PowerLift garage door opener has been fried or is no longer operational, you can purchase a new replacement circuit board at North Shore Commercial Door Co. This Genie garage door opener circuit board 37160R is priced well below retail and is an original Genie replacement part. The Genie 37160R.S circuit board is located just above the power assembly and just below the motor assembly on the Power Lift 900 Genie garage door opener. Replacing the original circuit board assembly with a new replacement board is as easy as removing a couple of screws, removing the old circuit board and carefully installing the new circuit board. Before you begin any parts replacement project on these Genie garage door openers, you should first cut the power to the device. Using the Woods Garage Door Opener Surge Protector, also available at North Shore Commercial Door Co., is also recommended for safety. To replace this Genie 37160 circuit board, detailed installation instructions are included for a hassle-free installation. PowerLift 900 garage door openers use a direct screw drive system, uses an auto seek dual frequency system designed to automatically seek a 315 or 390MHz frequency from the remote control. This garage door opener also uses the IntelliCode system. Unlike many Genie products, the 37160R.S circuit board does not have an updated or changed part number making it easier for you to purchase the correct board for your system.

ANSWER: It's been a while sine I installed mine, but I do recall only the first few alphanumeric characters matched. I think the part # is 37160.R and the rest is serial number or manufacturing information.

If you're looking to buy this part, I'm guessing you've already had a good close look at your current board. I'd suggest taking a photo of it and compare to what you see on the website. That's what I did, and it's been working great for over 6 months now! by Zachary F a
